Insulation II

In my pity
I wallow
Between layers of mud
The world is brown
And shallow
And I see it all
In my cool comforting flood
Of dirt and of sand...
Please no water
I'm happy and comfortable
In my misery
I have what I need
What else is there?
This I know
In my pity
For there is black
in the world
I laugh at the souls
Who think they know.
And I'm caring and kind
To the chocolate blanket
My own world
Hah!
My own joke
