Haikus

Tragic Flaw

It swayed violently
           grated steel wool cloth
It swaggered through doors
           of hinged wood
One drink, two drinks, three drinks...
Infinity just within reach
           behind archaic portholes
It races the linear path
           the right-brained occasionally trip
But never FALL.
It refused the white
           comforting knowledge-laden abyss
           impervious to marginal boils
It lurched forward
           embracing life
           overwhelmingly sharp bright movement
It FELL.
