Before acting, I studied psychology and mass communications. I interviewed fine and performing artists. I wrote human interest stories. I wrote poetry and performed at open mikes. Psychology, writing, and poetry have all provided a solid foundation for my acting.

Discovery

I've always been short. But I haven't always been this short. I was never the last one chosen for school sports teams. Except once. It was basketball. I scored many three-pointers. I wasn't chosen last again.

Human Condition

Despite differences in height, weight, age, gender, race… Despite all of these differences, each and every one of us experiences the world as mortals. We all experience birth, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and death. A majority of us also experience love, fear, anger and sickness. We may all be extremely different, but many of our experiences are universal.

Favorite color? Try a favorite shade of every color. Blue? Aquamarine. Pink? Salmon. Red? Burgundy. I’m especially drawn to snow-white dresses, turquoise gemstones and auburn hair.

Stargazing

People born under the sun sign Cancer are imaginative, empathetic, nurturing, moody, and sensitive. Michael Shurtleff in "Audition" writes about the need to always play opposites in acting. Find the humor in serious moments, but also the gravity in humorous moments. Imbue the villain with warmth and charm. Portray the heroine with flaws and vulnerabilities.
